Okay, so you get your original bet back first, then you start to press, but you do it slowly, you know, until you really feel like you’ve got the hang of your betting and when to press. I kind of have this little game inside the game that I play. For the 4’s and 10’s, I press right from the first win because, look, I can jump from $25 to $50 and still get my original $25 back, minus the vig, of course. For the 6 and 8, I take the first hit, then I start pressing from there. And the 5 and 9? I use a different strategy there…so $25 goes to $50 and I take $10, then that $50 goes up to $125 you gotta give the dealer that $5 then if the 5 hits at $125, I just take the whole $175 payoff. Not a bad little profit for just three hits on a 5 or 9, right? If the 5 or 9 hits again after that, I might bump it up to either $200 or $300, really depends on how the other numbers have been hitting. And then you just keep going from there. Thing is, since I’ve been doing this, there are nights where I never even reach that $175, so I basically just lose the original $25. But I’ve also had it go all the way up to $500 and hit it. Oh, and I also love playing the hard ways, so if those come in, I’ll press my place number all the way on the 6 and 8, and then I take the profit from the hardway and press that up a bit too.
