Hey, just throwing this out there because it’s been on my mind, and I don’t think I’ve heard anyone really talk about this? It’s a bit of a rabbit hole I went down the other night.
So, has anyone ever really sat and thought about the recovery rate with different strategies? You know, like when you hit one of those rough patches and the bankroll takes a dip?
Let’s say, for example, you hit tat point where you’re down 7 units—ouch, been there—how many wins do you actually need to claw your way back to even? It’s kind of a bummer to think about, honestly.
If you were just playing a simple 6 and 8 strategy, I crunched some numbers (well, my brain did at 2 AM), and you’d need about 1.7 hits on that strategy to recover. Feels like a grind, right?
I’d be super curious to see how this math plays out with your personal favorite or your go-to strategy. Might change how you feel about riding out a cold streak!
