Okay, so you’ve probably seen the unbalanced Red Sevens count it’s not bad for a start, but honestly, it won’t beat the house edge. A much easier option with similar results is the Aces/Fives count from the Wizard of Odds (just +1 for a 5, 1 for an Ace!), and it doesn’t need a true count either. There’s a fantastic article about it on his site, you should check it out!
Seriously, unless you’re going all in on this, just stick with perfect basic strategy, add that Aces/Fives count, and use the Illustrious 18 plus Fab Four deviations. That combo will get you in a really good spot at the tables, lol! But wait super important: make sure your basic strategy is exactly right for your specific game. It changes a bit based on deck number, surrender rules, whether the dealer peeks… all that stuff! Good news the Wizard of Odds website has a calculator,to figure out the perfect strategy for your game.
