Should my friend have hit on 16 in Blackjack and cost me $900?

I was gambling with my friend, just playing some Blackjack. I had a serious $900 bet on the line. He, on the other hand, only bet $50. Look, the dealer showed a 10. I had a solid 20. My friend was sitting on a 16... nad he refused to hit. The dealer turned over a 16, drew a 5, and busted out to 21. And my friend? He didn't even offer an apology. He genuinely didn't think he'd done a thing wrong. I mean, seriously. Unbelievable.

Last night, me and the neighbor both sitting on a hard 16… what are the odds? I stood, he hits… pulls a freakin’ 5!!! Dealer proceeds to bust, of course.

Never know with this game… smh.
