First, you’ve gotta check the rules! For example, the difference between a 6:5 and a 3:2 blackjack payout is huge it totally blows any deck penetration or even card counting out of the water, lol! With a 6:5 payout, the House Edge is like single zero roulette or casino war territory honestly, it’s worse than Pai Gow poker, UTH, baccarat, etc.! Actually, with optimal strategy, UTH’s element of risk is probably 3 or 4 times better than 6:5 blackjack with just basic strategy and decent counting.
All things being equal, deck penetration won’t make enough difference for you to score a Faberge egg from your blackjack sessions, haha! But before settling for that table, maybe walk around and see if they have higher limit tables with better rules. It can be scary to sit at a $100 or $500 minimum when you’re used to playing red chips and intimidating to see others betting stacks of yellow! But if you truly master basic strategy, even with flat betting, you’re coming out ahead at a 3:2 table versus a 6:5 one, despite the big swings!
